“He’s here.”
“He loves me. He wants me. He’s fucking me.”
“Zero. Try to fight the visions. Stride is here. You’re going to have to help him get us out of here.”
Zero looked down to the bottle which was again filled with cum. It wasn’t real, none of it. Stride didn’t love him. He’d never love him, and what did he care? He wasn’t in love with him either. They’d fucked, big deal…but damn it, why did his heart feel as if it had been run over by a truck? Perhaps Stride was right. He was a pussy. He had to toughen up, not let just any asshole claim his heart.
“Well, aren’t you in a fine mess?”
Zero glanced up with relief to see Stride standing there, sword in hand. Stride was now looking at the man in the corner. “You called me?”
Maizah nodded.
“Eh, Stride”—Zero cleared his throat—“could you…ah…I’m kind of…”
“Right.” Stride tore his glance away from Maizah and went to unshackle Zero.
Zero saw the small girl hovering and tensed.
“It’s all right, she’s not a demon. I recited the Lord’s Prayer in Latin and she didn’t bat an eye.”
Zero raised an eyebrow.
“Long story.” Stride glanced down at the tube in his penis. “Okay,” he muttered, “a new sexual thrill?”
“She’s using my sperm.”
Stride took the bottle off the tube and poured the contents out. “Not anymore she isn’t. Now, this might sting a little.” He grasped the tube and with one yank, pulled it out.
“Damn it!” Zero let out a yelp.
“Slow would have hurt more.”
Zero squeezed his own cock waiting for the pain to leave. “I have no clothes.”
“Seems to be a persistent problem,” Stride murmured, running his gaze over him, then moving over to Maizah. “Now before I go off half-cocked and release you, I need answers. Start talking, and talk fast because by my calculations, we’ve got about ten minutes to get our asses out of here alive.”
“What do you want to know?” Maizah asked.
Zero would gladly have kissed Stride’s feet. He’d even take back the stupid collar Stride had once snapped around his neck as a display of ownership. Stride had come back for him. That had to mean something.
Maizah let out a gasp. Stride moved away from him, his gaze intent on some point in the middle distance.
“Follow my lead,” he said to Zero, his voice a low growl. “Don’t react, don’t argue and we’ll be fine.” Stride’s voice moved inside his head.
He stared at Zero, clearly expecting a response. Zero nodded as a sudden chill invaded the room. The babies all stopped screaming. Zero had blocked the mad sound in his quest for self-survival.
Stride stared in the direction of a woman’s tinkling laughter in the distance.
Maizah looked surprised but said nothing.
“It can’t be.” Stride’s whole body registered shock, then joy, as he turned and looked at the woman gliding towards them. Zero stared at her beautiful face, framed by luxurious, long red hair. She wore a pale pink gown of satin and lace, its plunging neckline revealing a buxom, creamy-skinned body.
